DESCRIPTION: Dimethylacetylene (C4H6) is a clear, colourless liquid with a characteristic acetylenic odour.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: Dimethylacetylene has some anesthetic activity and can act as a simple asphyxiant. It is also used in organic synthesis.
