DESCRIPTION: Pure Ethane (C2H6) is a colourless, odourless, flammable, non-toxic gas at room temperature and atmospheric pressure.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: Used as a refrigerant when extremely low temperatures are required, and also as a raw material in the production of halogenated ethanes.
