DESCRIPTION: Isobutylene (C4H8) is a colourless flammable gas at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, and has an unpleasant odour, similar to coal gas.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: Isobutylene is used in organic synthesis and in the production of high octane aviation gasoline.
